Iván Bouchain

Iván Bouchain

Steeped in the world of theatre, Mr. Bouchain studied the Afro-Cuban style and jazz in the National Actors’ Association of Mexico, Musical Comedy in l’ESCOLA COCO COMIN and received scholarship to the tap program in Jacob’s Pillow in the United States. He has participated in various audiovisual projects, in movies such as “The Cheetah Girls 2”, “Noches Sensacionales”, “Mira quién baila”, “La Maratón” de TV3, y “TV Azteca”. He has been a professor in numerous international tap festivals, namely the Tap On festival in Barcelona, Estocolmo (winner of in 2 editions of the Cutting Contest) Varsovia, Lithuania, the Czech Republic and Berlin among others. With the Dinatatak Project he recorded the disc “Nombre Proprios”, touring around Europe and being a member of the prestigious tap company W.O.T.O. He is a showman and and Emcee. He is also a dancer and lindy hop professor in Swingmaniacs and is regularly invited to dance with the big band in the Palau de la Música in Barcelona.

Since 1999 Mrs. Font has been part of the Barcelona Rhythm Tap directed by Guillem Alonso with whom has has acted in numerous theatres and television programs. As an actress, dance and singer she has participated in the production The Violinist on the roof and the ad campaign for Seat Toledo in conjunction with the Stomp company, in the ad campaign for Vodafone 2007, and in the percussion and tap show Trashtos and Saxtap, among countless others. She is also the co-creator and dancer in the Tap Olé show, in the Chicago Vittum theater in 2003, which garnered her the audience favorite awarad in the International Valladoid Festival in 2004. She has acted in New York, Helsinki, Boston, Dusseldorf, Croatia, Italy, Panama and at the Edinborough fringe festival. In November of 2009 she performed in the second tour of Tap Olé, which toured in Germany, and in London at the Peacock theatre, among other locations. She also performed in the internationally acclaimed Fire of Dance as a solo dancer, which toured over 330 venues in Europe between 2000 and 2002.

Lucas Tadeo

Lucas Tadeo

Mr. Tadeo is pioneer and dancer in Tap with a residence in Madrid, where he has been working and teaching dance since 2010. He created the shows “No one is whom they seem “ with members of the Tap Show Project company, and “Woto Extended” , which was performed in its’ entirety. In September of 2014 he played a pivotal role in launching the first edition of Tap Residency Madrid, which over time has become one of the premier tap-dancing events in Madrid and in all of Europe. He trained professionally in Berlin for 6 months, and continues training and learning in cities such as Barcelona and New York. He created the monthly tap Jam in Berlin and has participated in two editions of the Anhélias festival.
