Aleksandr Ostanin

Aleksandr Ostanin

Began tapdancing at the age of 10. During his career he became a World Champion for 4 times( 2 times in Solo, once in Duo and once in Small group). Aleksandr also became a winner of So you think you can dance ( Ukraine 1st season). He was dancing in such shows as Tap reloaded, Wings of Rigolo, Tap United. He also runs a Dance Studio in the city of Odessa. Besides his dancing career, he is a founder and director of Odessa Tap Festival.

In 2017 Aleksandr won the International Dance Organization IDO-Gala Show (Bill Fowler Cup) against all Styles World Champions . This year, in 2018 Aleksandr Ostanin was a coach of USA National Tap dance Team.

Melinda Sullivan

Melinda Sullivan

Born in East Meadow, New York, and raised in Thousand Oaks, California, Sullivan began tap dancing at a studio at age four, turning professional at age 14. Her mentors included Jason Samuels Smith, Chloe Arnold, the Jazz Tap Ensemble, and Harold Cromer. As a high school senior, she won a role in the Cats 25th anniversary touring company, followed by the inaugural national tour of High School Musical on Stage!. After tour, she moved to NYC, work with Jason Samuels Smith’s tap company A.C.G.I., with appearances including Sadler’s Wells in London and the infamous Jacob’s Pillow.

Among many of her outstanding performances: in 2016, she danced in the film La La Land”s opening number, Another Day of Sun, leading to performances on the Academy Awards and the Golden Globes. Now based in Los Angeles, Melinda continues to appear in television on and off camera, assisting as a choreographer on The Late Late Show with James Cordon, Crazy-Ex Girlfriend, & SMILF. Melinda is on faculty at the Colburn School in Los Angeles, constantly collaborating with musicians and filmmakers.

Sharon Lavi

Sharon Lavi

Born in Tel-Aviv, Sharon Lavi is a dancer, choreographer and teacher of a very personal tap style. He studied in Israel with professors such as Michal Israelstam, Zvia Brumer and Ellida Geyra or Sarah Petronio, among other recognized teachers. In 1995, he was the first tap dancer to receive the official title of Prominent Dancer of his country. Since 1998 he has been guest artist and soloist in different international tap and / or dance festivals in countries such as Israel, Spain, France, the United States, Russia and South Africa.

In 2001, he joined the company Camut Band with which he toured internationally to this day and, a year later, founded the company Sharon Lavi, in which he created, directed and produced the shows BoomBach, MONKEYS, KexevKezev, EPIC and FRAGMENTS. In 2016 he created the choreography for Mustache, The Rhythm Musical, directed by Coco Comín, work for which he receives the prize for the best choreography at the annual Musical Theater Awards gala. Sharon Lavi dedicates his professional career to research, creation and production of a genuine and own tap language that creates school.
